  If I could give this place no stars I would. I have NEVER been so disappointed in a retail store in my life. I work retail now and at one point worked at a Sport Chek and their behaviour in front of customers was beyond rude. I was attempting to purchase a bike at the service shop when a girl from a different department walked in to chat up the 3 guys in the shop. The young employee filling out my paperwork was so wrapped up in the conversation (unrelated to work at all) actually took the time to step into their circle and chat for several minutes in the middle of helping us. He was only feet away and in direct view of us the entire time, and he knew we were in a bit of a hurry. Not only that, but the reason we were in a hurry was because the bike I had phoned to put on hold the night before was never put on hold and no one could find the bike. I came to find out that the bike I had originally phoned about and was told was out of stock was sitting on the sales floor next to the one the guy on the phone convinced me to buy instead. I will never phone them for help, and I will never set foot in their store again. There are far better locations to shop at in a Edmonton, and I plan to let everyone I know that as well.
